Blockchain Research
I completed my masters degree in mathematics and statistics at the University of Melbourne under the supervision of Professor Peter Taylor. My research focused on methods that have been used to find the topology of the P2P network underlying Bitcoin, and I developed a novel machine learning approach to solving this problem using edge recovery algorithms based on correlations of the arrival times of transactions between pairs of nodes. Interestingly, knowledge of the network topology allows for the deanonimisation of Bitcoin users.
